17th October 2011
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: SSW
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: chop, rollers, waves
Air Temperature: 15
Sea Temperature: 16.4
Weather: cloud
Max Speed: 23.6 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 22 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Set 5.3m/85l which was good for a couple of runs then wind was light for while so bagged sail out, the wind gradually climbed and increasingly flattened sail. it just got better and better as wind increased, tide dropped and sea got smoother with rolling waves. Wished I could have sailed longer but by 6:10pm light was making it difficult to spot waves and chop so came in. Phil kept going for a while and Mark Swaine had packed up earlier after going faster than the speed of light.
Now that must be last evening sail of the summer. Felt warm. Feel great.
